Revitalization for themed leisure, recreational and cultural activity venue

To revitalize and optimize the only extant ship-building industry site in Macau into an unique leisure, recreational and cultural activity park. 

The Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has been running the revitalization project since year 2021, with an area of 3,000+ sqm, the first phase of restoration work on Plot X11-X15 was carried out to provide onsite exhibition areas, spaces and workshops for regular performances and activities.

This phase, collaborating with Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), is to enhance and promote diversified onsite experience, in aspect of cultural, tourism, leisure and recreational, integrating into existing context, creating a particular landscape that reflects the perfect harmony between the natural environment and man-made structures, yet a testimony to the urban development, industrialization and lifestyle of the era of Macau.

Putting all together with a better sense of use of space that preserves historical scenes and cultural memories, while improving the overall quality of the area that serves both citizens and tourists with enjoyment and attractiveness.
