According to the urban planning strategy of Macau, the New Urban Zone Area E1 is located at the northeast corner of Taipa Peninsula, adjacent to major transportation infrastructures and public facilities, such as Taipa Ferry Terminal, Macau International Airport, two cross-sea bridges and more. To better support the future blueprint of Macau and Taipa, the area E1 is planned not only for public, residential and diversified industrial use, but also to be one of the key transportation hub for both urban and regional connectivity.
