Construction of Overpass - Ramp B, at Pearl of the Orient

The grade separation project of Rotunda da Amizade has been carried out in order to relieve existing traffic pressure, as well as to meet future development needs of the northeast district of Macau Peninsula. According to plan, three overpasses A, B, C will be erected in two phases for better diversion and yet further facilitating the future development needs and traffic demand of  HK-ZH-MO Bridge and New Urban Zone A, while supporting and accommodating traffic fluency, connectivity and capacity between Zone A and Macau Peninsula.

Coming to the second phase of the grade separation project, this project is assigned with an approx. 750m-long overpass that runs by the side of the Government Apartment for Senior Citizens and adjacent developments. With one-way and one-lane, the overpass provides direct passage to New Urban Zone A and Avn. do Nordeste, starting from the northern end of New Urban Zone A, crossing Avn. Doutor Ma Man Kei and and Avn. da Ponte da Amizade, and connecting to the westbound of Avn. do Nordeste along the periphery of Lote P. 

The overpass is also equipped with a pedestrian walkway for public use, allowing passage between New Urban Zone A and Areia Preta, while it can also be extended to complete a green traveling route that staring from New Urban Zone A, via Social Housing at Morais and Guia Hill Pedestrian Tunnel, to NAPE.
